The team at Dargaville Little Theatre has been selected to represent New Zealand at the world-wide amateur theatre festival(Mondiale du Theatre) in Monaco in August 2025. Eight extraordinary, dedicated, Northland women put this original show together, took it to Wellington and won the National Theatrefest competition held by Theatre New Zealand.
Finding the $40,000 they need to take it to the world is a next-level challenge, and could use your help, and you can help!

A musical that looks at Aotearoa's mental health system in the 1950s by following the lives of six women within a mental health institution.
Dargaville Little Theatre is an amateur theatre company located in Northland, NZ. Their club was incorporated in 1963, but their roots of drama in Dargaville go much earlier.
Providing quality entertainment for the people of Dargaville and beyond and have performed many original, locally written productions. Additionally, they provide a safe space for people to try theatre for the first, second or tenth time both on and off stage. Welcoming any new members all year round.
