An intimate 50 seat theatre is coupled with a welcoming dining room where you can enjoy a sumptuous dinner with a glass of wine.
The Whangarei Repertory Society Inc. produces three or four productions each year. One Musical/Revue and the others Drama or Comedy plays.
There are many ways to enjoy being a part of these productions, especially as a member of our audience.

The Whangarei Repertory Society Inc (aka Octagon Theatre) came into being on April 8, 1948. The first play was staged at a private home in November 1948.
From small beginnings, the Society’s number of drama enthusiasts and followers continues to grow.
